This module has sections with an overview and in-depth look at the key players involved in photosynthesis as well as a movie that pulls it all together. It illustrates the flow of energy, chemical reactions, and establishment of the proton gradient across the membrane that results in the production of NADPH2 and ATP in photosynthesis. The animation distinguishes the reactions in Photsystem II, Photosystem I, and the electron transport system and identifies the names of the membrane molecules. Students can review the material with text and still illustrations or animations.
