This two-hour program is divided into 16 chapters that guide viewers through time from the beginning of the Human Genome project to its completion. Along the way, ethical questions are posed about how to handle the information discovered, who should be able to use it, and how it will be used. This program also uses real people and case studies to illustrate types of mutations in a person's genes and how that translates to a physical disease. Some of these chapters can stand alone and some can not.
