This interactive map is part of a larger site dedicated to understanding the spread of Ebola. It allows users to explore population density and incidence of disease regarding Ebola. Users can zoom in and out on a split map in order to see both Ebola incidence in a particular location and the human population density in that location. Two discussion questions that ask the students to interpret data are included. Students may learn about Ebola specifically as well as general concepts related to epidemiology.
